(Honolulu) — The Hawai’i State Senate  celebrated Hawaiian Caucus Day for the fifth consecutive year. The day-long event was meant to honor, preserve and perpetuate the Hawaiian culture through a variety of activities under the slogan of “Holomua Me Ka Lōkahi” (Moving forward in unity).

The highlight of the day was the recognition of outstanding Native Hawaiian leaders in our community.  The State Senate presented Certificates of Recognition at a Floor Session at 11:30 to Kumu John Kaha`i Topolinski.
